The Dyson blog: The Value landscape and engagement

from Unpretentious Style.

of the methods below! The other day, I painted a dresser.I’ve felt so much better every time I look at it ever since.. You don’t often get to see in our bedroom because it’s half-torn apart and also not really a renovating priority right now, but that’s where the dresser is, so today’s your lucky day!.

I did the most boring, unimaginative thing to it: I painted it white and stuck on some new hardware, and I couldn’t be happier with it.. And the white? It’s not even a cool distressed chalk-paint antique white, in fact it’s the opposite.I went completely un-trendy and did it in a super duper glossy shiny bright white..

I needed that.. Here’s how it looked before:.Don’t you love how much junk fell out of the drawers in just the one year we’ve been here?

We don’t even use this dresser that much, in fact it’s going to be going upstairs into the room we’ve just started working on..

It was given to us by a friend who was moving a couple of years ago and we were just holding on to it until we got around to fixing it up..If you like to open up your windows in the Spring, or even if your windows don’t have the best seal on them, allergens can get inside and sit on the trim around your windows just waiting to find a breeze to hop on and make their way further into your home.

Vacuuming around the trim of your windows and doors every once in awhile can go a long way towards reducing the allergens in your home and it will keep them looking great too!Be honest, when was the last time your remembered to clean your window trim?

It makes a big difference!Clean your books too!.
